First, check whether your plan already includes roaming
Check the terms for your destination before choosing another service. Some plans already include incoming calls without an additional roaming charge. Within the regulated European roaming area, roaming like at home applies subject to its conditions. These alternatives may suit travel beyond your included coverage or a need for remote access to your number.
1. Forward your mobile to a 007VoIP landline in the same country
Your contacts keep calling your familiar mobile number. Your operator forwards the call to a 007VoIP virtual landline in the same country, and you answer in the app over the internet. You do not need a physical landline phone at home.
Domestic forwarding may be included in your plan or incur charges: confirm this with your operator. Receiving calls in the app has no per-minute charge under your contracted setup; the number subscription and other applicable charges still apply.
- Choose an available landline and confirm requirements, setup charges and subscription fees.
- Enable forwarding for all calls before travelling, following your operator's instructions.
- Call from another phone to check that the call reaches the app.

2. SIM Hosting: keep your SIM, calls and SMS
If you also need SMS from your original mobile number, or forwarding does not suit you, we can host your physical SIM in a compatible setup in its home country. Access supported calls and SMS through the 007VoIP app.
You do not need to take that SIM on your trip. Our team reviews the country, operator, hosting arrangement and services you need before confirming the solution and its price. Your SIM and mobile plan must remain active; hosting is a separate service.

3. A new real mobile number, with less to arrange
You can also get a new real mobile number from 007VoIP, virtualized to VoIP. It costs more than a landline, but simplifies setup: you do not send us your own SIM or need to forward your previous mobile if you will use the new number as your main contact.
You receive a different number. Share it with your contacts and update the services where you want to use it: calls and SMS from the previous number do not transfer automatically. Confirm availability, requirements and compatibility with the messages you need.
Which costs should you compare?
Compare the total cost of your trip, rather than just one part of a call: the number subscription and any setup charge, your operator's forwarding charges, internet and, if you choose it, SIM Hosting. If you forward 007VoIP calls to another mobile or landline, that part is charged at the applicable destination rate.
Check forwarding and calling ratesGet everything ready before you leave
Test calls and important SMS before relying on the service. If you keep your number through forwarding or SIM Hosting, keep the original line active.
Check voice calls, voicemail and data with your operator too: turning off data roaming does not by itself block roaming calls. Forwarding all calls is different from conditional forwarding, such as when you do not answer or have no coverage, which can incur different charges.
Frequently asked questions
Does forwarding my mobile also forward SMS?
No. Ordinary call forwarding carries voice calls. For SMS sent to your original number, consider SIM Hosting or check whether you can receive them on your SIM while roaming: depending on your operator, receiving SMS may be free.
Will every verification code work?
This is not guaranteed. With either SIM Hosting or a new mobile number, reception depends on the number, country, operator and sender. Tell us which services you need and confirm compatibility before ordering.
Do I need internet to use the app?
Yes: use Wi-Fi or a data connection chosen for your trip. A mobile number virtualized to VoIP does not replace a data plan and is not a travel eSIM.
How can I call someone back?
Use the app or open Webphone on your computer or tablet, with no installation required. Check the rate for the complete international number before making your outgoing call.
